HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADRIAN!!!

Today is my baby sisters birthday. She is 22. I thought I had a lot more pictures of her. Most of them are scrapped and a lot are of me and her. I didn't have time to download them onto the computer yet, but I will. I am going to share some fond memories of her. I will start with one of my favorite memories. She doesn't find this story funny but I do. Every time I think about it, I laugh out loud. I just can't help it. We were young. I think I was in middle school. I'm five years old then Adrian, so she was in elementary. We were staying at our Nana's house. My Nana has these dolls that were my mom and aunts when they were little. Adrian was on top of the balcony and I was standing at the bottom. She was throwing the dolls down to me. I would catch them and throw them back up to her. My Nana caught us, well I should say caught Adrian. The minute I saw my Nana I was outta there. I was lucky enough that the garage door was open and I ran into the garage and into the house, up the stairs and into the room that we were staying in. Adrian came down the hall crying. She was so mad at me. I must tell you that my Nana is old school. She is a very strict lady. I love her very much, but you do not want to make her mad. So being a big sister I left the little one to the lions. I still don't know if my Nana knew I was with her or if she thought Adrian was throwing the dolls off on to the ground. I feel bad but not to bad because like I said, I still laugh my butt off when I think about that day.
Here are some random things
Adrian was with me when I picked out my baby boy Bugsy. I must say that Bugsy loves the crap out of her. When she comes over, he goes nuts. He gets so excited. When we go to the lake, she usually rides the tube with me. She is really good at wake boarding. She likes animals. She has a beautiful face. She likes cutting my hair and putting pink in it. She puts up with me. When I moved away to college, Adrian would write me letters and decorate them. I still have them. Here are some more stories. We liked to slide down the stairs, even though we knew we weren't supposed to. We've done it in boxes, on pillows, on a shower curtain. One year on Christmas, there was a big bag, the kind you would put a big present in. It was night and we were getting ready to slide down the stairs. We were discussing or plan and my mom came around corner and said "What are you doing!" We were like deer in headlights. We grabbed onto each other and screamed. It was one of those scares where you are looking at the person, you know who they are, but you can't stop screaming. My mom was laughing. She said "It was too quite and I knew you two were up to something.". Another year during Christmas time, my mom bought a fake tree. We came home from school and asked if we could get it out. She said yes. After we got the tree out and laid it on the ground to be put together I had a brilliant idea to slide down the stairs in the box. It was like a sled. I sat in back while Adrian was in front. I don't know how many times we went down the stairs in the box, but we destroyed it. As we were sitting on the floor laughing, I saw the tree laying there. Then it dawned on me. Where are we going to put the tree to store it. I dreaded the time to tell my mom when she got home that there was no longer a box to put the tree in. I knew she would want to know how the box got ruined. I told my mom what happened. Needless to say, we got into trouble. Again, Christmas time. Adrian and I were in the basement dancing and goofing around. I was spinning her and flung her into the tree. It fell over and we broke some ornaments. There are so many stories, but I wll save some for down the road.
Happy birthday Adrian, I love you!!!

Random stuff

I will start with my hair. I got my hair cut on Saturday. I didn't redo my pink. I feel a little naked with out it. We cut some inches off and threw in some layers. I was a little nervous about cutting my hair, but Adrian said trust me. So I did. I do like my hair and it feels thicker now. Friday night, Wyatt got the flu. We had to leave our friends and the bowling alley and go home. He was sick until about Monday/Tuesday. Poor thing.

I thought I would post some things about the dogs.
Here is Lily, waiting to get some human food. She sits like this all the time. Her hind legs just hang there. She is so funny. Here I think she was cold.
She moved one the pillows to enclose her in. To me it looks like she was making a little fort around her. She did this Sunday night.
Here are some of her and Bugsy. They love cuddling. In the last picture, I swear Bugsy is giving me the stink eye.

For those of you who don't know, Bugsy has arthritis. He's only four! We have him on medication now and it has really helped, especially with his attitude. Now that it's colder, I have gotten out his electric blanket. He can no longer jump up on the bed, especially the new bed. Since he has been on his medicine, he will put his front paws on the bed and stare at you and sometimes grunt. So we will lift him up and sometimes he will crawl into the sheets like he used to. On this morning while getting ready for work, they stayed in/on the bed until I kicked them out of the bedroom. They are not allowed in the bedroom when we are not home. They looked so cute that I had to get pictures.
Bugsy rarely gets into the sheets now because of Lily. I don't know if she thinks he is playing with her because she likes to smother him. She likes stepping on or right by his head. When I catch her she gets in trouble. Yet, she keeps on doing it. She can be such a turd. She got kicked off the bed this morning cause she did it to him. If he is on the bed, she doesn't really care, but the minute he gets in the sheets, she is all over him.

Up date

Here are mine and Wyatt's costume's. He picked his costume out himself. He's supposed to be a redneck. I love his shirt.

He has the perfect legs to wear shorts like that. I was a mad scientist. I really slacked off this year on costumes. Next years will be so much better. We went over to Burke's and Amy's. Amy was that guy from the Semi Pro movie. I didn't do very good on pictures. Oh well. My brother brought by my nephews. Ayden is Iron Man and Gavin is the Hulk. Gavin was the perfect hulk. If you've seen him, you know Gavin is not small. Lily really liked Gavin. She keep trying to kiss him. Gavin kept trying to grab Bugsy's tail.We had an ok Halloween. I was so sad to put up all my Halloween things.

Yesterday was spa day for the dogs. They had a bath, pedicure, ear cleaning and a dental bone. Since they were so good. I gave them each a stuffed animal. They were so excited. Bugsy actually smiled for the camera.
Lily kept going into the room where I got them from. In May, Krystal had a yard sell. I bought 2 garbage bags worth of stuffed animals. I'm saving one bag for Christmas and the other bag is when I feel they need one. Thanks so much Krystal. Other then that, nothing has been going on. Been pretty boring. Oh, I am excited to go see the new James Bond movie. Wyatt and I are going this weekend. I'm going to be fasting so I can eat some of that yummy show house popcorn. I love that stuff.

Happy Halloween!!!!

This is a gingerbread house Mary and I made the other day. It smells so good.
I made some cookies and brought them to the guys in the shop. I was dressed up in my Daisy Duck costume. The guys loved it. I was going to get on the intercom and sing a little song and dance, but I chickened out. Wyatt and I have a party to go to tonight. I really slacked off this year with costumes. Wyatt came up with his, which every time I think about it, I laugh. Mine is a doctor/mad scientist. Like I said, I really slacked off this year on costumes. I will get lots of pictures tonight and try to post them tomorrow. Here is the costume I wore to work.
I only wore it when I delivered the cookies to the guys. Wyatt's sister Laci stopped by with the kids after work. Sam isn't with them.
Leighnie is the witch and Billie Izzie is the horse. Leighnie with uncle wyatt. They really liked my costume. So did the dogs. Also, here is a picture of my yard. I never did get pumpkins this year. Oh well.

Hair song

I know, I know. What is up with the hair song. I heard this song a long time ago and I always found it funny. So I figured with my hair post, this would be the perfect song. Also, I fugured we needed some halloween music.

Hair

Here are some pictures of my pink hair. I've been doing it since May. This month I had Adrian put purple tips on the end of the pink. It looks really good and bright in these pictures. She did it Saturday morning for me. I had to have it fresh for the Deer hunters Ball. I also had her cut me some bangs again. I was thinking of cutting off my hair, but I just couldn't do it. Not yet. I was thinking maybe this would be my last month of pink, but I don't know. It just fits me so well. I think I pull it off pretty well. You can't see the purple that well in these pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Deer Hunters Ball

On Saturday was the Elks Lodge annual Deer Hunters Ball. It is one of the better events that the Elks put on. It always has a good turn out. They have a live band that plays in the dance hall. This year I invited Sarah and J.C. to come. It was such a blast having them there. Towards the end of the night they have a raffle. Sarah won a $50 gift certificate and J.C won a shot gun. Them lucky dogs. Wyatt and I won squat. I am happy that they won. It's always fun to win things. Wyatt and I danced a little. We were kinda rusty on our pretzel dance. We mostly stayed out in the main area and visited. This is Frank and Mary, my bosses. I think in this picture Frank wanted to show off his chest too. They are so funny. This is Doug. He used to be Wyatt's roommate and he was in our wedding. Wyatt and I didn't get home until 2 a.m. We stayed in bed until noon on Sunday. We had a lazy day. It was nice because it was so cold outside. We got some snow on Saturday. What flowers I had left are now dead. To Sarah and J.C., I'm so glad that you guys had a fun time and that your mom babysat for you. Wyatt and I had so much fun.

Labor Day Weekend

Wyatt and I went to Lake Powell with Coy and Traci Wadsworth and their kids. We got there early Friday morning. We drove the car down the ramp as far as we could go. There is a sign that says no cars beyond this point. Anyways, we unloaded the car and was waiting for them to come and pick us up. We were getting ready to carry our stuff down to the dock when this truck with a boat honks at us. Wyatt and I look at them like "What the F...!". We went about our business and they honked at us again and threw their arms up in the air. I looked at the driver and said what do you want. He wanted us to move. We were standing between a parked car and the sign that said "No cars beyond this point". Wyatt and I both looked at him like he was an idiot and said you got to be kidding. There was only one other truck/boat on the ramp and he was in the water already. So pretty much the guy had the whole ramp to himself. But no, he wanted to go between the car and the sign. So we moved a foot over so he could get by. As you see in the diagram I drew, you could see why we gave him a dirty look and was annoyed with him. After we moved, this is where he ended up. His excuse was that it was his first time. Whatever! Right after that Coy and Tracy came. When they got there they told us we had a snake in the camp. He was hiding between the cooler and the shader. When we got to the beach we had to find rocks because nobody had a shovel. The whole process took us over a hour. The men had to smash the snake with rocks. It was sad. I don't like snakes, but when you got to kill something, I like doing it quick and kill them with the first hit. It was hard because we only had 3 big rocks heavy enough to kill. Also, the snake was a baby rattle snake. They are more dangerous then adult rattlers. They don't have any rattlers on their tail, so you can't hear them and they don't have control over their biting and releasing venom. We didn't want him to get into our tents our get one of the kids. So he had to die. After the killing, we set up our tent and went out waking boarding. When we came back to our beach, there was 3 house boats there. Yes, there was a space between, but still. Friday was a beautiful day. Saturday, Coy's parents Rod and Annette came. Saturday was partly cloud, but still nice. We went touring all day Saturday and did more wake boarding and tubing. I love riding the tube. Then the night came and with it the wind and with that, rain. It was a looonnnnggg night. The wind was blowing so hard, that it was making waves that were going over the boats. The rope to the anchor on Coy's snapped. One of our tent poles broke. While I was laying on our tent, something bit me. There was no mark on my leg and at first I thought I got a sticker in me, but then it started to throb. It hurt so bad I wanted to cry. So I'm laying on the tent getting whipped with sand and wanting to cry. Coy's two little girls were laying on their parents tent, one crying and the little friend that came with them was laying on the girls tent, wanting to go home. Traci and Annette were holding onto the shader and the guys were in the water holding the boats. It SUCKED!! After the wind died down just a little, we set up back up our tents. It rained all right. When we woke up, our bedding was wet, we had puddles in our tent and our clothes bag was wet. Everything was wet. It wasn't just our tent, it was everybody tents. Nobody had dry clothes. Wyatt and I were planning on leaving on Sunday while coy and the rest of them were staying until Monday. We all packed up and came home Sunday. And just in time. When we got to the dock, rangers were warning everybody that was loading into the water that a storm was coming. It was already starting to rain again. While were unloading the boats, Wyatt went to get our car. He had parked in a long spot, usually for trucks with trailers, and somebody had parked behind us and blocked us in. So then we had to go find a ranger, they called a towing company and said it would be 45 minutes. While waiting, a Lake Powell employee came and it was her car. The ranger gave her a lecture and said she should know better and don''t do it again. Finally we were on the road home. It rained all the way home. Besides the weather, it was a fun trip. So I have tried to post some pictures, but they aren't working. I will try again later.

FLOWERS

The other day I came home and found that Lily had picked me some flowers. Maybe she was trying to make up for ruining the flowers her and Bugsy gave me for mothers day. She is such a stinker.
I thought I would try to get a picture of them by the flowers before there wasn't any. Again, Bugsy would not look at the camera. All of the pictures I took, there is not one with him looking at me. He can be such a pill sometimes.
