HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUGSY!!!!

Today is Bugsy's 4th birthday. He is "The Baby" . I didn't give them their birthday ice cream last night. I thought I would save it for tonight. They did get a special dinner last night though. To much out of their normal eating routine upsets their stomachs. Leave it to me to get dogs with sensitive stomachs. Bugsy has a really sensitive stomach. I love them both so much.

My newest pets

Last week was the renaissance fair. I went Thursday night with Sarah and her kids. There was a booth that was selling African dwarf frogs. They are about the size of a quarter and they don't get any bigger. They had a family deal that was get two frogs, a container and 3 months worth of food for ten dollars. I wanted them really bad, so I got the family deal. There names are Kermit and Miss Piggy. One is half a size bigger then the other. I thought the names suited them. They don't do anything but lay there. I don't know why I bought them, I just wanted them. Sarah is frog sitting for me this weekend. We are going up to Duck Creek for Duck Creek Days. I will get some pictures of Kermit and Miss Piggy. They are so cute.

4th of July

4th of July Weekend

We had a good weekend. I went to the parade with my parents. My brother and his family was there along with my aunt and cousins. The parade was long this year, which was okay and they threw a lot of candy. After the parade I went home and Wyatt was going to the fire cracker golf tournament. After that we went up to the cabin for the weekend. Saturday night we sat around and watched Klint sing and play his guitar and roasted marshmallows. It was a nice weekend. I didn't get very good pictures up at the cabin. Also as you see in one of the pictures, I have a piece of pink hair. I dyed it back in May but it had faded out and then I had Adrian redo it on Thursday night. I love it.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!

Today is our 3 year anniversary. I can't believe it's been that long. We are going to dinner tonight. We are going to the Ninja house. I love their food. I really like the fried rice. That's about it. The dogs gave us Mario Cart for the wii for our anniversary. I have the sweetest dogs. I think Wyatt helped them pick it out. They gave it to us about two weeks ago. They couldn't wait until our anniversary. Which I'm glad, because I've been having fun playing it. I need to practice though. Wyatt has been kicking my butt on it. He's so good.

We are going up the mountain this weekend. We need to put up our dog kennel up there. We usually put them on the back deck, but Bugsy two summers ago chewed off the lock on the wooden gate. He is so smart. He chewed off the piece of wood that had the lock on it. I was so mad and told Glen I was sorry that Bugsy ruined his gate. It was just a kid gate but I still felt bad. They have a new one up now. When we bought our house, the people left their dog kennel there. But now we have a fence put up, so we decided to take the kennel up the mountain. That way we can lock them up outside and Bugsy can't chew through chain link fence.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WYATT!!!!

Wyatt's birthday was on June 11. He is 33 years old. WOW! He had a good birthday, even though he had to work. The dogs got him a New York Yankees blanket. I got him 3 Donald Duck figurines. Yes, I know. Figurines. I saw them on ebay and had to get them for him. I got him football Donald, fishing Donald and video game Donald. If you know Wyatt, then you know how much he likes Donald duck. He likes him so much, he has a tattoo of him. It's really cute. I will have to get a picture of it. Also, Wyatt loves his xbox 360. I call it his girlfriend. He has it hooked up to the Internet so he can play with other people. He plays this game called Call of Duty that is a war game.I just had to get it for Wyatt. It was so him. Wyatt and I have been starting a Donald Duck collection and that is why I got him the figurines. He also loves the Yankees. My family got him a couple of Yankees t-shirts, a hat and a really cool sign. Glen and Becky (Wyatt's parents) Got him and me the collector dog plates of the breed of dogs we have for our birthdays. I will get a picture of those later. Glen and Becky took us to dinner at Ninja Japanese Steakhouse. We sat at the table where they chop and cook your food in front of you. Wyatt and Glen caught the shrimp the cook flipped at them and Becky and I missed ours. I keep closing my eyes. It was very good. We were all stuffed.

Happy Birthday to Steph. Steph is my brothers wife. She is 29 today. Happy Birthday to you!

The weekend

Friday late in the afternoon, Wyatt decide he would replace some of the grass that the dogs killed during winter. He had brought home some rolls of sod. I was digging up the small patches while Wyatt did the big spots. Bugsy, my baby would just lay by me and move when I moved. Lily on the other hand was all over the place. She was in my face, Bugsy's face and especially in Wyatt's way. Wyatt brought the sod out and started unrolling it. Lily had to lay or stand on every piece of it. After we were done, we ran up town to get dinner. We were only gone for about 30 mins. I walked into the kitchen and saw a little scrap of grass in the living room. I walked in there and to my surprise, there was a big chunk of grass. Lily our sweet little angel decide she wanted to bring it in. I have doggie doors, so it was very easy for her to drag it in. I know it was her, because Bugsy doesn't do that kind of thing. His thing is walls. I was mad, but she is so cute and her little butt was just wiggling with excitement. So I just laughed and cleaned it up, after I showed Wyatt what his little angel did.

On Saturday we went up to the cabin, which is in duck creek. Becky invited us up there for dinner and we decided to stay the night. This was Lily's first time going there. She was excited. She keep running up and down the stairs. We don't have stairs at our house, so she just had to keep checking them out. Some of Wyatt's friends were up there to. We decided to go visit them. In the past when we go up the mountain and we leave at night, our dogs would go upstairs to their beds and go to bed when everyone else did. So we left and came back a couple of hours later. I went up to the loft and I saw this fur thing on one of the beds. It was about the size of a golf ball. I noticed it was wet. I found a gum wrapper and picked it up. I showed Wyatt and I found another one on the ground. The one on the ground looked like it had a cat nail on it. So Wyatt thinks they maybe got some kind of rodent. Chipmunk, squirrel who knows. I go downstairs to throw them away and as I'm walking back up, I notice the mountain lion rug they have draped over the railing. Yup, Lily had chewed off the fingers/claws on the mountain lion. She only got the hind leg that was buy the bed. Wyatt's dog in the past had chewed off the fingers on the front leg. We didn't say a word. I felt so bad. I didn't even think about the lion. Bugsy and Titan never bothered it before, so I never worried about. Now I made a mental note to put up the legs on it. I learned my lesson.

Last week was hard

Last week on Monday 2nd my mom called me and said my grandpa Ade was dying. He's been sick for a couple of years now. I went and said my good-byes. He passed away around midnight on Tuesday. The funeral was on Friday. It was very nice. He got military service and it was very beautiful. I know he's in a better place, but it's just weired not having him around. On Friday, before they were closing the casket, they called in all the family to say our final goodbyes and a prayer. It's quite as can be and then you hear Ayden, my 4 year old nephew say "Nana, what's wrong with you legs?" My mom was wearing navy blue nylons. So everyone is staring at her legs. It made my mom and some of us smile. It was nice to see my mom smile. She was very close to my grandpa. The whole family will miss him.

Cruise

I thought that I would start out with the cruise we went on in February. I will do my very best to keep it short. Those of you who know me well, know how long I tell a story. I will also do a slide show of the pictures. We left on the 10th and came home on the 17th. We were able to go through my work. I have very neat and great bosses. They had enough points saved up for 4 people. Frank and Mary couldn't go, so they let me take my parents. Yeah!!! We went on the Western Caribbean cruise. We left out of Texas. When we arrived, the ship had on inflatable bull horns on and the skies were blue. About when we were ready to ship off, fog rolled in. We left two hours past our scheduled time. But it was okay because the next day was at sea.

Our second day we toured the ship. Third day we went to Cozumel Mexico. This lady hooked us up with her cousin, who was a taxi driver. We had her all day. We first went into town. Did a little shopping then she took us to a beach where we didn't have to pay to get into and we could go snorkeling. Me and my mom went snorkeling while my dad and Wyatt sat on the beach. Didn't see much fish, but the water was beautiful. It was so open, which was a little scary. Stupid Jaws movies! Next she took us to Margaritaville and that is where we parted ways with her. There was taxi drivers just waiting. We got a really cool guy to take us back to the dock. We got in the car and he had a sound system hooked up. So we jammed out to his music. Wyatt sat up front. We noticed they use their horns a lot for communication. So Wyatt asked how do you tell somebody to get the F*** out of the way? It was 3 honks in a certain way. So the driver showed us. He did it to a couple on a moped. They weren't in our way, and they new it. So he honked at them and said "Get the F*** out of our way". It scared them and then they gave us dirty looks. We were laughing our butts off. We got back on the ship and stuffed ourselves at dinner. Later that evening we went and saw a young Elvis. He was awesome. Fourth day we went to Roatan, Honduras. We went to a parrot and monkey park that was on a private beach. I loved the monkeys. When we got to the monkeys, the care takers told us to watch our hats, sunglasses, pockets and other things. Well my dad wasn't quick enough to get the things out of his pocket. One of the monkeys stole his packet of certs. The monkey was sitting on a railing and people were asking what does he have? It was funny. While there we had to cross a scary bridge. It was rope and wood planks. Only 5 people were allowed on at a time. There was this stupid guy who ran all the way across it. The whole bridge was swinging. The people on it froze and held on. I wanted to kick that guy. After we saw the Parrots and monkeys we sat on the beach. My mom and I did some more snorkeling. Still didn't see that many fish. Fifth day was at sea. Just did more touring of the ship. Nothing much. Sixth day we went to Yucatan, Mexico. We went to Chichen-itza and saw the Myan temples. It was neat. We had to ride on a bus to get there. Two hours there and two hours back. Our Tour guy was nice, but annoying. He was Myan decent. Lucky me sat right under the speaker. It was so loud. He was telling us about the Myans and keep repeating that no one knows what happened to them. Then he would look at you and almost stare you down and say "Why, why. Why did this happen". He would look at you like you were supposed to know. He did this the whole trip. When we got to the ruins, he talked so long about stuff and when he was done we had 45 minutes by ourselves to go and check stuff out. I was mad. On the way back I fell a sleep. I woke up to his voice on the speaker saying "Hello, hello, are we all sleeping?". We still had 30 minutes before we got to the dock. Like I said, he was nice but annoying. Seventh day was at sea. Same thing we did as the other days at sea. Eighth day we woke up and was in Texas. My favorite part was Roatan. It was a really nice vacation and I was so glad to have my parents there to enjoy it with Wyatt and I. Like I said, I tried to make it short. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
