Wyatt and I are starting a family. I have been off birth control for a month now. We are in no rush. We are sticking to our normal routine and when it happens, it happens. He didn't think I was serious this time. Here is the story why he didn't take me serious. I was supposed to go off birth control last June. I panicked... bad. I thought I was ready and I got down to a week left of pills. We were driving to Wyatt's softball game. I told him I had a week left. Then I started crying. Why, I don't know. I told him I couldn't do it. He was so nice to me about it. He told me it was ok. I felt so guilty. Wyatt will be 34 in June. He has wanted a baby for a while. When we got married I told him I at least wanted 2 years of just me and him and he agreed. We will be married for 4 years in June. It's been nice just me, him and the dogs. If you don't know me by now, you should know my dogs are my babies and will always be.
I'm excited and nervous and so is Wyatt. We know the dogs will be good with a baby. They love kids. I might have to do some one on one time with Bugsy. He really is sensitive. I have been buying things here and there for the past couple of years for the baby's room. I'm doing a jungle theme. I bought a really cute kids lion rug at Costco in December. I brought it home and showed Wyatt. I told him it was for the baby. He said "What, the imaginary baby?" I told him yes.
Wyatt now is glad that I am serious this time. Now the things I buy for the baby, we don't refer to it as the imaginary baby.
