Sorry I have been gone for a while. Who likes this new thing Blogger is doing with the backgrounds? Not me! If anybody knows how to work with the new stuff let me know.
Now on to what I've been up too the last two months. I will post pictures later.
JUNE: June was a busy month. Wyatt turned 35 on June 11! Crazy I know. A week later on the 18th was our 5 year anniversary. For Wyatt's birthday and our anniversary we went to see the New York Yankees play. They were playing the Arizona Diamondbacks. Wyatt LOVES the Yankees. They usually come to Phoenix every other or every two years. We lucked out this year. We bought the tickets in March or the beginning of April. Our friends Brandon and Val live in Phoenix and they came with us to the game and we stayed with them. It was a blast. It was my first baseball game. We left on Friday 19th and came home on the Tues 22nd. Our first night there we went to a place called Grahams. It has multiple clubs in it. The clubs are small but there is a Country bar, 80's, Hip Hop/Modern and Karaoke. They had a riding bull in the country one and pool tables. We just played pool. Sunday we went to the mall and I bought me an awesome bra from Victoria's Secret. We went to dinner later that night with a couple that were Branden's and Val's friends. Really nice couple and we all got a long. They were funny. There was a liquor store by the restaurant and we went there since it is sooo much cheaper than Utah. We were in the parking lot and the husband( I can't remember the couples names). But the husband looks at Wyatt and says hanging to the left are ya? Both me and Wyatt stop look at each other and of course I have to look there. We both started laughing and then when we were by ourselves we said that was kind of weird and Wyatt was like I've never had a guy say that to me. They were a nice couple, but that was a little weird especially when you just met them a few hours before. Monday was the big day. I didn't have time to paint my nails. I was a little sad. Frank (my boss) has a vinyl cutter and made me tiny ny's to put on my nails. When your on vacation it seems like you have all the time in the world and before you know it, it's gone. That's how I felt. I did buy me a shirt to wear and a bracelet. Wyatt had his jersey he got for Christmas. Val and Branden didn't show their colors. But they told us they were for the Diamondbacks. There was a lot of Yankees fans at the game. I think they said it was sold out. Oh, before the game we went to lunch at this cute restaurant called Uncle Bears Bar and Grill. I loved it. Uncle Bear is a dog. You walk in and the dividers are chain link fence and there are dog bowls full of peanuts on all the tables and you just throw the shells on the floor and they sweep it up. And you can bring in a picture of your dog and hang it on the wall. It was so cute. I wish they would get here. So we go to the game and it was great. The Yankees were playing Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday. We wished we could have seen all three games, but oh well. The Yankees did lose the first game, of course the one we go see but they won the other two games. We decided that for our 15year anniversary that we are going to go to New York and see the Yankees and be tourist. We came home on Tuesday and then went to Lake Powell for our annual lake trip on that Friday and then came home that Sunday. Our poor dogs were going through with drawls. We set up camp on Friday after whacking down bushes so we could have some beach. That sucked. We are trying to set the shade up and I was having some issues with the poles and Wyatt in a joking voice says "Paige, would you get your S**t together". Gavin who is three is sitting there and says "Yeah Paige, get your S**T together". We all started laughing and Wyatt was like sorry, I need to remember to watch my mouth. Saturday we are all sitting around and my brother Nick brings up the "What what in the butt" video/post. He said he actually felt himself getting stupider and didn't finishing watching it. Adrian was like I finished watching it and Wyatt said he couldn't believe I put that on there. I told them I thought it was funny. Later my brother is bent over getting into the cooler and shaking his butt to the music and I said "What what in the butt?" and spanked him. We all started laughing and Gavin goes "What in the butt?" with a really confused look. After that we decided that we wouldn't say that anymore. I still do, but only to certain people. We celebrated my dads b-day later that night. During the day Gavin stepped on a sticker and said "Ow, I got a whisker", Ayden heard him and was like "No Gavin. It's a sticker". My mom goes over and said "Here, let me get the picker out". Ayden corrected her too. He kind of got a little feisty about it. We did the usual stuff like wake boarding and tubing. All in all, we had a great time.
JULY:
July was busy too! Cedar celebrated the 4th of July on Monday. I went to the parade with my parents and sister. Got THE best tigers blood snow cone while there. Then later that night went to my parents house for a BBQ and did fireworks. The following weekend we went to the cabin. And same for the next weekend. That weekend was Duck Creek Days. Wyatt's family had a horseshoe tournament and a potluck on that Saturday the 17th. The weekend of the 24th was Utah's birthday and we celebrated Sam's birthday and had a BBQ at Wyatt's sister's house. And then the last Saturday of July was my 10 year high school reunion. I dragged Wyatt along. It wasn't much, just dinner and a slide show. Teresa and I got some great pictures of us. I will be sure to post those.
Whew.... I think I'm caught up now. I'm leaving for the lake again and the bow hunt is coming up in a couple of weeks. I will be sure to get pictures posted. There are some great ones.
