Miller: April 2010

You probably thought that I fell off the face of the earth, but I didn't. February was busy. Wyatt had shoulder surgery the last week of January. He was home for two weeks. The dogs were in heaven having him home. He slept on the couch in the reclining position. I enjoyed having the bed to myself, well except for the dogs. They slept on Wyatt's side and on his pillows. All the dogs love pillows. Anyways, Wyatt had to have surgery on his scapula(?) I'm not sure how you spell it. What was happening was his shoulder blade was rubbing against another bone. It's called snapping scapula. He went in on a Monday and said that this shot he got wasn't helping at all. The doctor had him come in that Thursday and did the surgery. They cut a piece of bone off. It's about two inches long. He asked if he could keep it. It is still sitting in our fridge in a container. He is pretty much healed. He went to a bow shoot last weekend and did great, as always. He is amazing with his bow.
On February 11 my Nana passed away. She was my mom's mom. She is now with my grandpa and probably very happy. She was 93 years old. She had a great life.It was sad. I always hate seeing my mom cry. It breaks my heart. But I know she is happy. I got her button box, which is a box full of buttons. I love it. The button box will be for another post. Besides those two major events, the rest of my time has been spent reading. What!!!! I know. I've been buying books left and right on my kindle. It is so easy. I love it. I've cut myself off for a while. I still have some paperback books that I need to read first, before I buy any more on my kindle. Stupid smut books. I'm so addicted to them. Wyatt the other day came in the bedroom and started biting me. I told him to leave and he was like " I thought that was what you wanted. Don't you read vampire smut?" I said of course, but they don't bite like that. Your just biting to annoy me. He just laughed and left.
We have been trying for a baby for a year now. We have decided to take a break on trying. I think it will help take some pressure off of us. It doesn't feel like a year has gone by, but it has. This Tuesday is my bowling banquet. So no more bowling for me until next fall.
The dogs are good. Shayleigh is growing up so fast. She got fixed last month and is doing good. She is wild, but so are the other two. Bugsy has done something to his hind leg. We think he has sprang it. My poor baby.

Here is his incision. Next winter, he will get his right shoulder done. Yes, both are messed up.
