Thanksgiving

This year was the Millers year. We went over to Kleigh and Sheryll's in Parowan. Glen (Wyatt's dad) got tree permits this year for everyone. Thanksgiving morning we went up the mountain and got our trees. The blonde that I am, I wore tennis shoes instead of my snow boots. My toes were so cold. We usually go that Saturday after Thanksgiving or the first weekend in December. We took Shay with us that morning because we felt bad because we knew she would be locked up later that afternoon. We didn't want her to be locked up all day.Wyatt got a great tree. We think it is the best one yet. We put up our tree on Friday. I put the lights on Sunday. I have 5 strands of lights on it. I think it could have used one more, but oh well. I got to the fifth strand and realized that I had started with the wrong end. I was pissed. I had to take off all of the lights and start over. Our tree is about 8 1/2 feet tall. I had to use a ladder. By the time I was done doing the lights I was sweating and sick of the tree. I still haven't got the ornaments on it yet, I'm going to do those on Wednesday and get the ladder out of the house. We had a good Thanksgiving and I hope you all did too.

Dogs

Here's the update on the dogs. We are finally a happy family. Bugsy and Lily have accepted her. Lily sometimes takes on the mother role. It's kind of cute. Lily doesn't like to share all of the toys with her. We had to take Shay's collar off because Lily kept picking her up by it. Shay sleeps on the bed with us. I like it because I can feel her move and take her out before there is an accident. Shay already likes to snuggle and be touching the other dogs when they are lounging/sleeping. She knows how to use the doggie doors and is so cute to watch trying to get in and out of them. Now, if she would only apply that she can let her self out to go to the bathroom. I'm going through paper towels like crazy. She's not a fan of the cold, but loves to eat and play in the snow. Shay and Lily love to rough house. When Shay gets tired she likes to lay by Bugsy. Shay likes to kiss them, when they let her. She gets so excited when you come home. Today I noticed that she gets a little jealous if you don't pet her and you are petting the other two. She will start barking and whining and will paw at your hands and wiggle her way in. Last night she slept the whole night through. It was nice! She is soooo cute and we are so glad that we got her. She belongs in our family.

SHAYLEIGH

Shayleigh is our newest addition. She weighs about 12lbs. She is so soft and cuddly. Her name means fairy princess in Celtic. We will call her shay for short. Bugsy and Lily seem to like her. Lily won't leave her alone. Shay seems quite fond of them. I think it will be a good match. We figured since we weren't having any luck in the baby department, that a puppy is the next best thing. She is so stink'n cute. I hope tonight goes well. Keep checking back for updated pictures and stories.

Twilight

I went to the Twilight on opening night. The theater wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be. I'm not a huge twilight fan, but I do like it. I prefer the books over the movie and wish that "Bella" was a little different in her freak out scenes. Also, what the F was up with Edwards nipple when he goes to reveal himself in the sun? Is it bigger then the other one? Was it sagging? Was it really hair? What??? If you know me, I saw the first movie last year, then read all of the books....Once. I went and saw it with my sister Adrian and my cousin Jordan and Jordan's friends. Our movie didn't start until 7:15. We got there a little after 6 and the line was crazy. Jordan's friends kids had been in line since 5 saving our place. We bought our tickets on line and workers told us we had to go and exchange them. We go in and the lady is like "Your in #4 and your line is on the South side of the building". We had been standing on the North side. It sucked because we had to get out of line and start over. The line on the South side wasn't to bad. It was shorter then the other line. Saw the movie, ate popcorn and enjoyed it. My boss Mary bought me this candy. Jacob is soooo hottttt! I wish he was older.

Random stuff

I know I've been slacking on my blog. I'm sorry. I haven't been up to anything lately. Wyatt and I are still trying for a baby. Here are some pictures of my four legged babies. I know it looks bad that I'm eating with them laying right there, but they don't eat off my plate. Bugsy always lays on me and when I move my plate he crawls more into my lap. Lily thought she was missing out on something and had to be right where the action is, even though there was no action. I love how she is laying on Bugsy. I can't believe he lets her 75 pounds lay on him. Yes, they are both a little chubby right now. I think they are so cute.

Halloween 2009

This year Wyatt and I slacked off on costumes. He wore the same costume as last year and added a mullet wig to the mix and I just crimped my hair, put on fake pink eye lashes that Mary bought me and wore my pink skull shirt. We watched the baseball game until a little after 9 then went to the Elks Lodge. We finished watching the game there and visited. There was a lot of people there this year. I was impressed. Here are some pictures of that night.
