I thought I better update on what I've been doing, since I gave crap to Sarah for not updating her blog. The dogs are good. They haven't really gotten in to trouble lately, which is good. They like coming in the garden with me. When I'm weeding it, Bugsy will usually lay by me. Lily has to check everything out. She did still a bell pepper and ate it. She loves her veggies and fruit. I accidentally locked her in the garden a couple of weeks ago. I swear I saw her go out. She looked so sad behind the fence. My garden is doing well. I have zucchini out the wazoo. I am so sick of it. One of my pumpkin plants got something and the whole thing died. It had three really nice pumpkins on it too. I was very upset. I am so ready for fall and Halloween. I love this season. Still no baby... Wyatt and I were thinking of getting another dog. If you've seen on facebook, Sadie and Chase's boxer had puppies. We are still debating on it.
Last weekend the 11th and 12th we went to the college rodeo here in town with Burke and Amy Blackner and Burke's family. I went last year with Sarah and her family. We didn't stay the whole time, so I didn't see all the events. This year we stayed the whole time and went both nights. It wasn't that big, but it was still fun. One the events was the ladies goat tying. I guess since they are women, they tie miniature goats instead of calves like the men do. This was my first time seeing this event. I was mortified. I wanted to cry and steal the goats and runaway with them. They tie the goats to a rope in the middle of the arena and then the woman rider charges right at them, jumps off her horse and flips them and ties them. Where is the sport in that? The goat can't even get away. I know they don't get hurt to bad, but when it's tied up and crying, and I mean crying, it broke my heart. It reminded me of that scene from Jurassic Park(the first movie). Where they tie up a goat or was it a cow? Anyway the animal is tied and then the dinosaur eats him and all that is left is the rope. If you know me, you know that I am a total animal lover. I would love to save all animals and kill the people who are abusive to them. Just to say, I did not enjoy that event at all. Saturday I went to Cal Ranch to get dog food. There has been a pair of boots up there for the past month that I thought were cute. They were on sale and I bought them. I wore them that night to the rodeo. Wyatt thought it was amusing. We went again with Burke and his family. One of his nephews did the event where the kids get to ride the sheep. His nephew stayed on longer then any other kid and won nothing. I was a little disappointed. They could of at least gave him a free drink, frisbee, candy or something. I love watching the kids do the mutton ride. But before that, a horse died. The girl was on it getting ready to come out of the shoot when it had a heart attack and died right there. It was so sad. I think the girl broke her leg because the horse fell right on her. But besides that everything went good.
Bowling started last tuesday. I was only going to sub but this couple needed another member and so now I am on a team. Wyatt isn't bowling this year, which is ok. He hates it. He is doing fall softball and it is also on tuesday. I am sad I won't be seeing the last of his games. They have a good team this time.
So that is what I have been up to.
p.s. Congrats to all my friends who are pregnant. I am so excited for you!!! It is like babypalooza is going on.
